About St. Landry Parish Court Docket

St. Landry Parish court dockets and case records sit in separate record lanes. The district Clerk, lower courts, appellate court, and federal court do not share one universal case file. This private reference resource explains how to identify the likely custodian and locate an official route for a public docket, case date, or record request.

Why We Built This Site

Louisiana court access depends on the custodian and record category. Hon. Charles Jagneaux, the St. Landry Parish Clerk of Court, is the primary district-court record custodian, while the Twenty-Seventh Judicial District Court for the Parish of St. Landry, city courts, mayor’s courts, justice courts, the Louisiana Third Circuit Court of Appeal, and federal courts have separate roles. Louisiana has no single free public search for every district civil and criminal docket, so the court-first route matters.

What You Will Find Here

  • Docket guides: local criminal and civil docket routes
  • Court dates and settings: how to identify the court that can confirm a setting
  • Case lookups: local, statewide, lower-court, and federal search boundaries
  • Record requests: public inspection, copy, certification, and archive request paths

What We Cannot Do

This is a privately run reference site. It has no connection to any Louisiana court, clerk of court, or state agency. There are real limits to what it can do:

  • We cannot pull an official docket sheet or case file for anyone
  • We cannot change, reschedule, or reset a court date or hearing setting
  • We cannot remove, seal, or amend a case on any docket
  • We cannot issue certified copies of any docket, order, or court document
  • We cannot give legal advice or explain how a specific case applies to you
  • We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, or setting listed on this site is current right now

Only the clerk of court or the trial court that heard the case can issue an official or certified copy of a docket sheet or court record. We can point you to the right office, but the document has to come from them.

Search Partners

Some pages on this site include search boxes powered by third-party providers. Those companies set their own pricing and run their own services. When you use one of those tools and it leads to a paid signup, we may earn a referral fee. That revenue helps keep this site free for visitors. We do not control what those tools charge or what shows up in their results.
